In 1975, Genichiro Inokuma (1902-93) moved his atelier to Tokyo and Hawaii after his 20 years stay in New York. His paintings that he created with Hawaii's cheerful sunshine and warm whether became much brighter. While the motif "Universe" which he was keen on at that time brought his works with floating forms like in weightless zero gravity. Primary colors and various shapes placed on the surface of the canvas seem to be flying freely.
